My new favorite mixer baby! This is a powerful 800W stand mixer that can handle baking projects everyday. This Cuisinart SM-55 does look a little inferior compared to KitchenAid models, but it is definitely not flimsy or jittery at all. It’s a truly versatile mixer that comes with many attachments and has room for other additional attachments should you want other functions for it, such as blending, food processing, juicing, grinding meat and making pasta. Comes with a whopping 5-year-long warranty!

Best Budget Stand Mixer
Hamilton Beach 63221 Mixer
This is the best budget mixer. For less than $200, this 400-Watt Hamilton Beach 63221 Mixer can do a decent amount of mixing. It also has a wide array of colors to choose from. It is lightweight and easy to store, but this is also a downside as the mixer ‘walks’ across the countertop when mixing thick dough. Well, you get what you pay for, I guess.

Best Value Stand Mixer
KitchenAid Artisan Mixer
The KitchenAid Artisan Mixer is the best value mixer you can get for its price. It is a smaller version of the KitchenAid Professional 600 Mixer, with smaller capacity and lesser powered motor at 325 Watts, but it handles a good quantity of mixing well enough. This is good for mixing small batches of cookies or muffins. This model comes in so many different colors you may be tempted to collect them all!

KitchenAid KHM9PWH 9-Speed Professional Hand Mixer
This professional hand mixer is the best I’ve come across, even better and cheaper than its sibling the KitchenAid KHM7T, I should think. It is lightweight and silent, and has 9 speeds for best control of mixing consistency. The KitchenAid KHM9PWH 9-Speed Professional Hand Mixer is easy to clean with a smooth body surface – you just have to wipe it clean.
